10-5-04 // 12.13 pm he led the majors It's a beautiful early fall day and I'm getting paid to not be at work and to watch the Cardinals' first playoff game. Had a good time hanging out with Ryan H yesterday afternoon. We first tried to go to the thrift store but it was closed on Monday. So we grabbed frisbees and had a round of frolf on the university campus. Later, we watched Jeopardy, picked up some pizzas and then watched "The Passion of the Christ" which had come from Netflix, apparently. It was a good flick, mostly because we split the time sacriliciously MST3K-izing it (me raised Catholic, Ryan raised Protestant, both of us now very much not religious), trying to decipher who was meant to be who, how close it mirrored what's in the Bible, and listening for Latin. Now it's time for a bit of lunch, I think. Come on birds-on-bats.
